Writer's Block: Prophecy or Fallacy?
Happy birthday, Nostradamus. Many people consider the prophecies of Nostradamus to be uncannily accurate, while others remain skeptical. Do you think it's possible to predict the future?
> Many people consider the prophecies of Nostradamus to be uncannily accurate

Excuse me??

Then I'm not among 'many people', and thus believe that Nostradamus only wrote his predictions over the future events related to his time and place(such as imminent threats of Ottoman Empire over European Christianity), and people in later centuries somehow got convinced that those 'prophecies'  in vague and inclusive notation dealt with their own generation.
On that matter, my opinion is that it's not exactly the fault of Nostradamus himself, but of his pursuers who over-fantasized his prophecies and most of all, their own insights("only I can decipher his prophecies accurately!!").

Indeed, we can make 'estimation' of future based on specific data and reasonable assumption-- oh hey, can anyone make a good prediction about just when this plunge of US dollar will end?
